My Knitted Balls

I use my knitted balls to initiate conversations about knitting. The balls are soft to touch, you can squeeze them, and they usually provoke a smile.

The first series of my knitted balls were from Arne and Carlos' 55 Christmas Balls   http://arnecarlos.com/ Their book is user friendly and full of interesting patterns. I eventually created my own balls, playing  with size, shape and pattern.

Charity Ball

Lately, I have been using my balls to raise funds for various charities. The unstuffed moustache ball above, was used to raise both awareness and funds during the Movember campaign for Prostrate and Testicular cancer.

More balls to come.
